Corona Virus in Hawthorne
There have been reported cases of COVID-19 in the Hawthorne area. Please stay home if you have any symptoms including fever, cough, etc. We do not want you to be afraid, but we do want you to be aware. Wash your hands and don't touch your face. For protection advice from the CDC please go to:
Attend Service In Person, In Your Car, or Online
We are holding services inside but if you prefer to stay in your car you can pull up to the east side by the three big windows near the sanctuary and listen to the FM broadcast by tuning your radio to 100.1. If you can't make it in person, services are streamed on Facebook live and can be found later in the week on youtube and on this website under the sermons tab.
If you are sick or have any kind of fever or cough we request that you stay home or stay in your car but please do not enter the building.
Operation Christmas Child
We made our goal of 50 shoebox gifts, and still have time to exceed it!!! Collection week is Nov. 16th – 23rd. Be sure to visit https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box to learn what is ok to pack and what is not. For more information, or to get a box to fill, please see Charity Walsh.
We will be having a special ladies brunch at 10:30am on Saturday, Dec. 5th. We are looking for ladies to decorate one table with whatever Christmas/Winter theme and decorations you choose. Each unique table will have spots for 6 people. Please bring any type of bread you choose (muffins, scones, etc.) and the rest of the brunch will be provided. Please let Susan Hart know if you would like to decorate a table.

We also need helpers to set up on at Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar on Sat. Nov. 22nd from 8:30 – 11am, and on Monday, Nov 23rd from 9 - 11am to unload the produce truck.
